Security System Renovations - Franklin County Jail

The Franklin County Board of Commissioners, on behalf of the Franklin County Jail, is requesting sealed proposals from qualified contractors for Franklin County Jail security system renovations and improvements. Contractors are to provide materials, installation, training, and maintenance/support of a new jail security, surveillance and access control system. This system includes:

1.   Surveillance camera system,

2.   Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC),

3.   Proximity card access system,

4.   Locking door control system,

5.   An upgrade of the intercom system, and

6.   Other supporting equipment and materials, including but not limited to:

a.   Touchscreen control system monitors

b.   Raceway systems and wiring

c.   Electrical supply

To obtain a copy of the RFP, contact procurement@franklincountypa.gov. A nondisclosure agreement must be signed by an authorized representative of any entity wishing to obtain the RFP. RFPs will only be available electronically.
