CCAP Insurance Programs logo Risk Control consulting services may be provided by CCAP Insurance Programs to assist members with the development, administration and operation of their safety and loss prevention programs. Services may include: participation in safety committee meetings, assisting in hazard identification, providing educational services, and consulting with county staff regarding safety and loss control issues.

PComp Risk Control Services

Risk Control Services provided to PComp (Pennsylvania Counties Workers' Compensation Trust) members include evaluating member's exposure and helping to minimize risk. The department can also provide specific on-site trainings such as ergonomic evaluations, as requested.

PCoRP Risk Control Services

Risk Control Services provided to PCoRP (The Pennsylvania Counties Risk Pool) members include evaluating member's exposure and helping to minimize risk. The department can also provide specific on-site trainings and building assessments, as requested.

PELICAN Risk Control Services

PELICAN (Pennsylvania Liability Insurance for County Affiliated Nursing Homes) Risk Control and Risk Management services are offered as part of a full range of programs and services designed to meet the needs of the members. PELICAN loss control services focuses on issues relevant to the prevention of claims, and the reduction in the cost of claims. On-site visits and educational training are key components of the loss control and risk management program.

Risk Control Training Opportunities

CCAP Insurance Programs strives to offer valuable trainings in the areas of loss control and risk management for officials and employees of Pennsylvania's counties and county-related entities. Each insurance pool offers many training opportunities throughout the state which are free to their members and open to nonmembers for a fee. The GLIMPSE Risk Management Training Catalog is sent to members in the fall and spring of each year, providing members information on workshops throughout the state offered by CCAP Insurance Programs.
